❖ The applicant must be the citizen of Bangladesh.
❖ Only those who have passed S.S.C/equivalent exam in 2008 or 2009 and H.S.C/equivalent exam in 2010 or 2011 (with physics, chemistry and biology) are eligible for application (According the circular of 2011).
❖ Total G.P.A must be minimum 8.00 in both S.S.C and H.S.C exam or in equivalent exam and not below G.P.A 3.50 singly.
❖ Total G.P.A must be minimum 7.00 in both S.S.C and H.S.C exam and not below G.P.A 3.00 in either of them for tribal and non-tribal applicants of hill tracts.
Minimum G.P.A 3.50 in biology in H.S.C/equivalent exam is required for every applicant.
❖ Admission form will be found in the following website: http://dghs.teletalk.com.bd
❖ Following materials will be needed to fill up the application form-
* Own picture (jpeg format) of 300 × 300 pixel. File size not more than 100 kb.
* Scanned signature of own (jpeg format) in 300 × 80 pixel. File size not more than 60 kb.
A link has been provided in the homepage to synchronize the measurement of picture and signature.
❖ There are two options in the form. One for the applicant who have passed SSC/HSC/Alim etc and another for those who have passed O-level/A-Level or from abroad. For the applicants of second category an equivalent certificate and code must be collected form Director General, Medical Education. Without this application form can’t be filled-up.
❖ In the initial page of admission form- Roll No, Board, Year of SSC, HSC etc should be filled up. If anyone has opportunity in tribal quota he/she must click the button of Tribal/Hiitract’s non-tribal quota. If it is not clicked he/she cannot take the opportunity of tribal quota related options and G.P.A 7.00 for tribal quota will not be applied.
❖ Home district must be filled up. After getting chance in district quota if the student can’t show the district certificate, that seat will then be cancelled. This is also applicable for other quotas.
❖ A username and password will be provided after paying the fees by pre-paid teletalk. This (username and password) will be sent to both numbers i.e the number through which the fees was paid and the number that was filled in the form. Any operator number can be given in the star marked number of the form. Admit card can be downloaded 4/5 days prior to the exam by using this username and password.
❖ Process of paying fees:
* Go to the message option of any mobile having prepaid teletalk number. Then type DGHS, then space then Invoice No. and then send to the 16222 number. E.g: Type DGHS <space> FRLGCT and send this message to 16222 number. Here FRLGCT is the invoice no.
* In return SMS a PIN number and applicant’s name will be given and also permission for deducting 600 BDT as exam fees will be asked. To give permission an SMS should be sent to 16222 by following way.
* Go to the message option. Then type DGHS, then space then type YES, then space , then insert the PIN number, then space and then insert maximum four chosen Centre code (give comma in between them) and send it to 16222. E.g: Type DGHS <space> YES <456789> <space> 15, 16, 22, 32 and send to 16222. Here 456789 is the PIN number and 15, 16, 22, 32 are Centre code.
* If the PIN number is correct then 600 BDT will be deducted from that prepaid teletalk number. The applicant will be notified the name of exam Centre along with a username and password via return SMS. This is the same username and password that was mentioned in article 9.
❖ 1 week after the last date of submission of application, applicant will be allowed to downloaded and print the admit card by using his/her username and password.
Availability of the admit card in the website will be notified via SMS. Admit card can be recollected by the same process if it is lost. Result of the exam will be sent to applicant’s mobile through SMS and published in the website (www.dghs.gov.bd)
❖ Non-govt. medical or dental college will not be exam Centre.
It is to be noted that Centre code 11, 12, 13 can be chosen only by H.S.C passed applicants of Dhaka education board. 32 and other Centre code can be chosen by any applicants.
[N.B] Downloaded admit card and Admit card of HSC/equivalent exam must be brought by the applicant in the exam hall.
